Center for Mindful Living

Mindfulness and Meditation Through Feldenkrais

Mindfulness is the ability to know what we are doing, thinking, feeling and sensing in the present moment. It is the precondition for evoking neuro-plastic learning states of the brain that lead to freedom from old habits, change and improvement throughout your entire being.

Bringing mindfulness to your movement leads to artistry, ease and delight. In this ongoing class, using Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons, we will focus on reducing stress, pain and muscular tension in your body. You will learn how mindfulness can be recognized and cultivated.

Accelerate how you learn and improve.

Open Mind, Open Heart

August 2014

Our mind and our heart can become disconnected. By easing and freeing the movement of our necks, shoulders and ribs we re-open this critical connection.

Here Comes the Sun
July 2014

From where does movement arise? Explore the midsection of your torso, as a potential place to find the origin of movement, life and being. The lessons in this series will focus on how we use our bodies between our ribs and pelvis, moving us gracefully through the world.
